Specialties: Psychiatry, Medication Management & Trauma-Informed Care
Compassionate Mental Health Rooted in Aloha & Advocacy
Dakota is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who earned her Master’s degree from Hawaii Pacific University and is accepting new patients for psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive mental health care across Hawaii.
Dakota has been a registered nurse since 2017 and has worked across various nursing roles prior to pursuing advanced practice education. After relocating to Hawaii and working closely with underserved populations within the community, she felt called to pursue psychiatry. Through these experiences, she saw firsthand the gaps in mental health access and became deeply committed to providing care that is both clinically sound and culturally grounded.
She has a strong passion for serving rural communities and her approach emphasizes patient-centered and holistic care, integrating psychiatric treatment with an understanding of community, culture, and whole-person wellness. Dakota is committed to collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed mental health care for individuals and families across Hawaii.
